PROFORMANCE PROS ANSWERS THE CALL

CARNEY, Michigan-Once again Proformance Pros answers the call for competitors in NTPA Pulling. Recent rule changes affecting most classes have competitors scrambling to find parts that will meet the new rules in a ready-to-install package, without the need to re-engineer your competition vehicle.

Proformance Pros has engineered the kits and parts needed to meet the two most recent NTPA Rule Changes. The two most recent rules are the requirement to provide a FUEL & WATER SAMPLING VALVE, affecting all divisions and the requirement that “wheelie wheels” be increased in width from the current 2” minimum, to the new rule that requires a 4” minimum. These two new rules will go into effect starting with the 2011 NTPA Championship Pulling Season at all levels of competition.

To meet the “Sampling Valve” rule, Proformance Pros offers two basic valves along with a complete assortment of fittings to meet any need or configuration. Contact Proformance Pros to design the valve that will best fit you application.
Our Proformance Pros Stainless Steel valve has been designed for installation on the suction side. While slightly larger than other valves, this valve is guaranteed down to 29” of vacuum; this means that this valve WILL NOT suck air! This could be a problem with lesser valves and could damage an expensive motor.

Our other valve is designed by Enderle Fuel Injection. The valve “port” is a Number 6 fitting with an O-ring. This Number 6 fitting can matched up to any number of Enderle fittings, dependent upon your configuration needs.

Both valves have detents that will hold them in the open or closed position, however NTPA also allows the use of Safety Tie Wire or plastic Wire Ties to lock the valves in the closed position. Proformance Pros also encourage the use of a tie system to lock the valves in the closed position to prevent unwanted opening during a run. NTPA also encourages the use of a hose on the outlet to facilitate sampling.

These Valves are in stock NOW; ready for immediate delivery.
For competitors in any of the Four Wheel Drive divisions, you will be required to increase the width of the “wheelie” wheels on your vehicles. Fortunately, Proformance Pros has once again solved this problem for you with 2 new products.

Our billet aluminum wheels are available in 4”X6” and 4”X8” sizes. Both sizes accommodate a 5/8” Pin. The billet aluminum wheels are perfect for those of you that use them to support your vehicle when it is loaded in the trailer, thereby taking the weight off the suspension and preventing the bouncing that can negatively affect your suspension parts.

The billet aluminum wheels can also be custom made for larger pin diameters if preferred.
Our Rubber “wheelie” wheels are also available in 2 sizes; 11X6.00-5 and 10X4.50-5. They come mounted on aluminum wheels with inner and outer ball bearings. They also come foam filled to prevent flats.

These wheels are in stock NOW and available for immediate delivery.
Proformance Pros will once again support the NTPA as a Year End Points Fund Sponsor for the 2011 Season and also as a Contingency Sponsor for 2011 for both Grand National and the Regional National levels of competition.

Proformance Pros congratulates 2010 Champions

CARNEY, Michigan-Proformance Pros would like to congratulate all of the 2010 Champions. We know that it was a tough fight and hope that we helped many of you in some small way. For those that fell a little bit short, we hope that we helped make your season a winner and we expect to see you shoot for that title in 2011.

We would like to congratulate a few of our customers who had extra-ordinary season's.

The Longs swept the first three spots on the Lucas Oil Champions Tour in the Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Truck Division. To win a Championship is hard enough, but to have three trucks finish 1, 2, 3 in the points chase is an extra-ordinary feat. It takes a lot of dedication and a great team to accomplish that. Thank you for letting Proformance Pros be just a small part of that team.

Craig Emmes captured 2010 Championships with two different organizations, WUMPA and NEW MotorSports. Emmes of Marinette, Wisconsin drives a Four Wheel Drive Truck call "Cold Ethyl" and competes in the Wisconsin and UP of Michigan area. Congratulations Craig and thank you for letting Proformance Pros be just a small part of your success in 2010.

Last, but not least, Rob Foster. Foster has been competing at the NTPA Grand National level for more than ten years and has ome close to a title a couple of times. Foster has won at all of NTPA's major events, including being a 2-time ring winner at Bowling Green, and a 3-time Enderle Pull-Off winner.

The 2010 season was a battle back-n-fourth against NTPA's premier Modified Four Wheel Drive Champions, the Holman Brothers and Foster was able to win the title with a great pass during the final 2010 event at Findlay Ohio. Foster's truck utilized sever Proformance Pros Prototype parts during this championship run. Thanks Rob for letting us be a part of your Championship Season in 2010.

Congratulations to all of our Proformance Pros customers on your 2010 Season and we hope to be a part of your teams in 2011.

Proformance Pros Developes Dual-Wheel Assembly

CARNEY, MICHIGAN-Diesel Truck Puller’s will have double-vision over our new wheel assembly that allows their truck to utilize a “dual-wheel” and billet aluminum hub configuration on the rear axle of their pulling truck. According to Randy Kleikamp, President of Proformance Pros, “First and foremost, this will allow the safest installation of a 10” inner and outer aluminum wheels. This new product also incorporates an optional aluminum disc brake and rotor assembly. The brake rotor weighs just 1.5 pounds and we have seen as much as a 300-pound weight savings with this dual-wheel setup on the rear axle”

This development has been a three-year R&D project. Proformance Pros goal was to make this dual-wheel safe, strong, and much lighter. While there are many ways to create a dual wheel configuration, Proformance Pros started with safety first, strength second, and performance third. The result is a product that will help put you in the winner circle.

This new dual-wheel and brake set-up is expected to be in use at the TS Performance Outlaw Race & Sled Pull May 7th and 8th in Bowling Green Kentucky. If you are at the TS Performance event, be sure to look Randy up and find out more.

Proformance Pros Develops New Shock Absorber for Pulling

Carney, Michigan – Proformance Pros R&D Department has developed a high quality shock design for Truck Pulling applications. In partnership with AFCO Racing, Randy Kleikamp, President of Proformance Pros has developed a shock design through his many years of pulling experience, that will help the front tires and axles hook to the pulling track to help give competitors that extra distance needed to find the winner circle.
“Our shock design has helped pullers win championships” says Kleikamp, “With this double adjustable shock, you have the ability to tune your suspension to track conditions. We have worked with AFCO to develop the special valving needed for Truck Pulling.”
