MAG KILL SOLENOID. NORMALLY CLOSED. 12 VOLT. TO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A KILL SWITCH.

This Solenoid is designed to be used with Magneto ignition systems in conjunction with a kill switch.  MAG kill solenoids are required by many sanctioning bodies.

The Solenoid is Normally Closed.  When you apply 12 volts to it, it opens the ground path and allows the engine to run. Once the 12 volts are removed the Solenoid closes to ground shutting off the magneto’s power.
