Hub, Pull Truck, 8 x 6.5 Bolt, Rear Hub Only for the F-106 Rockwell.
This Hub allows you to use an 8-Bolt wheel on the rear of your F-106 Rockwell rear end. It replaces the standard 6 on 8-3/4" bolt circle with an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt circle and 9/16" wheel studs. ( a typical DANA 60 thru 80 bolt pattern)
The center hub pilot is 4.875" and the axle flange bolt pattern is 10 x 3/8-16 on a 4.300 bolt circle.
To use these hubs you must also replace the outer bearing and race with Part #113-721650 bearing and #113-721621 race.(sold Separately)
You must also use an aftermarket axle and drive flange, or you can modify your existing axles to fit. The axle drive flange must be a smaller diameter and re-drilled to fit the new hub.
We suggest the use of our spindle nut and lock ring. It's also available with the spanner wrench to tighten them.
We are seeing a huge drop in rolling resistance when upgrading to the ball bearings. The ceramic bearing has 1/10 the resistance of the steel ball bearings.
When choosing ball bearings, we will substitute the hub with the same hub that accepts ball bearings and will be shipped as an assembly. From the outside the hub will look the same. Ball bearing kit will not fit in the stock hub.
