This 380 Micron Screen is for Extreme Diesel Engines and Six & Eight Cylinder Diesel Tractor Pullers.

For use with all weight oils up to 70 weight, 6'' Screw-On See Through Filter Assembly with #12 Ports and 380 Micron Element is available. For use with six-cylinder diesel tractor pullers and extreme diesel engines, this *NEW* 380 Micron Screen is available. For motor sports conducted on dirt surfaces and requiring large amounts of oil, dual filtration is advised. The disposable filter used in this filter assembly is the size and style HP-6.
For tractor pulling and other motorsports conducted on dirt, this filter was created and advised. Diesel smoke and tiny particles can flow into the disposable filter because of the very coarse 380 micron element used in this filter. The oil is initially passed through a See Through Filter, where the filter element captures the larger particles that can be seen and examined. Meanwhile, the disposable filter or a System 1 unit filters out the minute particles from the oil. Following that, through the outlet opening, the filtered oil exits the filter assembly. Without draining or losing any fluid, unbolting, or draining, this two stage filter will prolong the life and flow of the disposable filter while still enabling visual inspection of filtered particles. Loosening any fasteners or fittings and with out any loss of oil. Seeing these filtered particles will help determine if they are from normal use or from bearings and other components excessively wearing in the engine or machinery supplying the Filter Assembly.
